Ingredients
Apple Filling
-4 medium granny smith apples, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
-3/4 cup brown sugar
-1 tsp ground cinnamon
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tbsp coconut oil
-1/4 cup water
-1 tbsp arrowroot
Crisp Topping
-2 Sweet Note Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
-1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Directions
-Peel and dice the apples.
-Place a large skillet over medium heat and add coconut oil.
-Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and water.
-Reduce heat to medium low. Stir until everything is well combined and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until apples start to soften slightly.
-Add corn starch and stir for 1-2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
-Thaw bagels according to directions and then cut into large chunks.
-Add bagels to food processor and process on high for 20-30 seconds. The bagel should still be small pieces, not crumbs.
-Add the bagels to a bowl with brown sugar, oats, and melted coconut oil. Stir to combine.
-Add apples mixture to an 8x8 baking dish. Top with the bagel mixture.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
