“Free-From” Cinnamon Raisin Apple Crisp
Prep Time: 20 minutes // Bake Time: 25 minutes
Directions:
- Place a large skillet over medium heat and add oil.
- Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and water.
- Reduce the heat to medium low. Stir until everything is well combined and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until apples start to soften slightly.
- Add the arrowroot powder and stir for 1-2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Thaw the bagels according to directions, and then cut into large chunks.
- Add the bagels to food processor and process on high for 20-30 seconds. The bagel should still be small pieces, not crumbs.
- Add the bagels to a bowl with brown sugar, oats, and oil. Stir well to combine.
- Add apples mixture to an 8x8 baking dish. Top with the bagel mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
