Prep Time: 20 minutes // Bake Time: 25 minutes

Directions:

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and add oil.
  2. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and water.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium low. Stir until everything is well combined and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until apples start to soften slightly.
  4. Add the arrowroot powder and stir for 1-2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Thaw the bagels according to directions, and then cut into large chunks.
  6. Add the bagels to food processor and process on high for 20-30 seconds. The bagel should still be small pieces, not crumbs.

  8. Add apples mixture to an 8x8 baking dish. Top with the bagel mixture.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
